Carbon Sink is seeking partners to develop behind-the-meter" renewable energy generation to supply power and green hydrogen for our platform projects
Each CS Platform project is expected to require a minimum of 220 MW of renewable energy production for both H2 and eMethanol production. Energy will be utilized for green hydrogen production via water electrolysis and in eMethanol synthesis block. Energy storage will also be considered to optimize plant output and economics.
Benefits of partnering on a Carbon Sink Platform Project are:
Multiple project opportunity, ~8GW in 10 years
Down-steam project economics de-risked with long-term off-take contracts
No need for grid interconnection
Potential for added storage element for plant optimization
Finished product (eMethanol), sold on long-term agreements
